<p>At some point, you have probably been in a restaurant that had outdoor string lights. A lot of restaurants use outdoor string lights to add to the atmosphere. There are several different types of outdoor string lights for restaurants. The type of outdoor string lights that a restaurant may choose, all depends on the type of feel and look that the restaurant is trying to create for their customers. </p>
<p>Although there really is not any technical differences between outdoor strings lights for a restaurant or a home, there are several styles of outdoor string lights that cater more toward restaurants. For example, a restaurant that serves Mexican food may have outdoor string lights that have red pepper shaped covers over each light bulb. Promoters of alcoholic beverages have taken advantage of the use of outdoor string lights that are in restaurants by offering bars and pubs outdoor string lights that have bulb covers that are shaped as a beverage bottle or can with their name on it. Using outdoor string lights allows restaurants to easily change the atmosphere to suit the day. Outdoor string lights are available with bulb covers that are heart shaped for restaurants to use on Valentine&#8217;s Day, green four leaf clovers for St. Patrick&#8217;s Day and so on. </p>
<p>It didn&#8217;t take long for restaurants to realize the several different uses of outdoor string lights. Many restaurants add string lights to the large fake trees that are placed around the restaurant. Restaurants will often times have their outdoor string lights hooked up with a dimmer. This allows them to provide brighter light when needed, then easily dim down the lights for a more romantic atmosphere. Just like Christmas lights, outdoor string lights for restaurants can remain on steady, slowly blink or run though a chasing pattern. However most outdoor string lights in restaurants remain steadily lite. Restaurants can get very creative with the use of outdoor string lights. A restaurant is under a lot of pressure when it comes to making their customers satisfied and especially satisfied enough to want return time and time again. Sure, customers expect great tasting food when they visit a restaurant, but they also want a relaxing, enjoyable atmosphere. Restaurant owners and managers often think of outdoor string lights as an art. They constantly think of the most creative and elaborate way that they can present their outdoor string lights, so that they do not look like any other restaurant in town. </p>
<p>Outdoor string lights for restaurants are available in many shapes and sizes. String lights range from a tiny bubble shaped bulb, to large clear bulbs. Outdoor string lights can also be intertwined with small wire, or a thinker wire that resembles rope. Restaurants can also choose the standard outdoor string lights that are pure decoration, or larger, brighter string lights that provide a well lite area. <p>You probably have heard of the Pareto Principle, or the &#8220;80:20 Rule.&#8221; Typically, 80% of unfocussed effort generates 20% of results. So the remaining 80% of results are achieved with only 20% of the effort.</p>
<p>Even if the ratio is not always 80:20, this pattern recurs so frequently that it is the norm in many situations.</p>

<p>The Peranaken Museum which is the latest attraction to the vibrant city of Singapore was hailed s being representative of the region&#8217;s history and culture. The museum was designed to be interactive and features a number of exhibits which are not only educative but also engaging, it promises to be an interesting place to visit not only foreigners but also for locals.</p>
<p>Who are the Peranakens you may ask? Peranaken culture is a truly unique fusion of cultures that can be found in South East Asia, Peranakens are descendents of traders and sea farers that came to South East Asia centuries ago. Due to their different ethnic and cultural backgrounds, the European, Indian, Chinese and Malay travelers created a unique hybrid of all their cultural origins that is today celebrated as being Peranaken. </p>
<p>The museum explores different aspects of Peranaken culture in ten different galleries; some of the most interesting are the galleries that depict a 12-day Peranaken Wedding, the Nonya exhibit and the section which serves up authentic Peranaken cuisine. Nonya is the name given to Peranaken women if Chinese origin a special exhibit dedicated to them features traditional Nonya dress, jewelry and pottery. The influence of Peranaken culture on Singapore can truly be gauged here as the close resemblance between traditional Nonya dress and the uniform of the Singapore Airline stewardess can easily be noticed.</p>
<p>A traditional Peranken Wedding was an elaborate ceremony that signifies the passage of the bride from her parents house to the grooms abode, the colorfully decorated &#8220;wedding bed&#8221; is decorated with symbols of fertility, expensive embroidery and intricate tassels. </p>

<p>What do you get when you cross hot Indian food with the English love of tomatoes and all things creamy? Chicken Tikka Masala is a famous combination of chicken tikka and masala.Chicken tikka is a marinated piece of meat cooked in a tandoor, an Indian oven made of clay and coal-fired. Masala is gravy commonly made out of some kind of tomato gravy or puree with cream and various Indian spices.It is technically a mild curry dish, though the addition of sometimes large amounts of tartrazine causes the dish to often look orange.In other recipes, it can look anything from red to orange to green.</p>
<p>Chicken Tikka Masala is possibly the most popular Indian dish in the world, and has arguably replaced tandoori chicken as the flagship of Indian food, including on the subcontinent itself; it even has a musical written singing its praises.In the United Kingdom alone, Marks &amp; Spencer, the famous English retailer, claims to sell 18 tons a week of the chicken in Tikka Masala Sandwiches, while 23 million servings a year are sold at Indian restaurants. Sainsbury&#8217;s, another retailer, sells 1.6 million dishes every year, and stocks 16 different products containing what is affectionately known as CTM.10 tons a day are manufactured by Noon Products to later be sold at supermarkets.</p>
<p>The chicken, though widely considered an Indian dish, does not hail from India. Kitchens from London to Glasgow claim to have originated the dish, which was first seen in the late 1960s.According to urban legend, the dish was created by a Bangladeshi chef in Britain when he served chicken tandoor to an Englishman only to be asked, &#8220;where&#8217;s my gravy?&#8221; The result? A mixture of cream of tomato soup and spices, which he called masala.And like that, chicken tikka masala was born, an early example of what we would now call fusion cooking.It is now so popular that British politician and Foreign Secretary Robin Cook once described it as, &#8220;a true British national dish,&#8221; citing its combination of authentic Indian cooking with the British desire to have their meat served with gravy.</p>
<p>What goes into a chicken tikka masala? Well, a 1998 survey indicated that of 48 versions, the only common ingredient was chicken.A common recipe includes chicken marinated overnight in yogurt, ginger, garlic, cardamom powder, cumin, white pepper, and other spices.The chicken is cooked briefly in the hot tandoor, and is then served with a sauce made of tomato, ginger, garlic, cream, green and red pepper, and an assortment of spices.The sauce is poured over the chicken after it is cooked. In contrast to tandoori chicken, on which it is based, the taste is mild and creamy, rather than spicy.</p>
<p>Is chicken tikka masala an English or an Indian dish? Whatever your reason for cooking or learning to cook you must always begin with the basics. </p>
<p>The first thing you want to learn is what various terminology you will discover in recipes actually means. There are plenty of new and sometimes unfamiliar sounding terms that you will find in common recipes. These terms signifies the difference in recipe results or disappointment. You ll want to be able to find a good section in any complete cookbook that describes the different definitions for unfamiliar terminology. In case you are not certain what is meant by &#8220;folding in the eggs&#8221; it is in your best interests to look it up.</p>
<p>Yet another good tip with regards to cooking basics is to try less difficult recipes for a while and then expand your horizons to the more complex recipes that abound. The majority of recipes will have a little note about their level of difficulty and you can read through the recipe to see whether or not it is something you are interested in preparing or confident that you can prepare.
